DESCRIPTION:Wokingham will once again be celebrating Lunar New Year on Sund
 ay 9th February\n\nThe lion dance\, one of the most important traditions a
 t Chinese New Year\, will be performed in the heart of the town alongside 
 music\, arts and crafts\, and there'll be a delicious selection of street

 /lunar-new-year/\n\nIn Chinese culture\, the lion symbolizes power\, wisdo
 m\, and superiority. Their presence reported to bring good fortune and cha
 se away evil spirits.\n\nOn the stage\nTimings (subject to change) for the
  day are:\n\n11am: Local Canto pop band 852X\n12 noon and 2pm: We’ll be 
 joined by the Pak-Mei UK Lion Dance Troupe who will be performing the reno
 wned and spectacular Lion Dance\n12:45pm: Singing and Cantonese workshop w
 ith HKR singers\n1:15pm: Hong Kong Reading Singers and Hong Kong Reading J
 unior Singers.\nAll performances are between 20 and 30 minutes in duration
 \n\nThere will be FREE parking in Wokingham Borough Council car parks on t
 he day too.
