We are very lucky that Wokingham has a wealth of Charities & Societies that are here to help residents of all ages, in all situations, and from all walks of life.
If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact the https://involve.community/community-navigation/ . This is an information giving and signposting service for Wokingham residents over the age of 18. Community Navigators can signpost residents to the most appropriate services for their needs, offering support to connect with social or physical activities in the community which help manage health and wellbeing. The Navigators have excellent knowledge of services, charities and organisations available in the Wokingham area.
Wokingham And Reading Dyslexia Association
Hold meetings for parents and teachers to help with issues relating to specific learning difficulties.
Wokingham Cancer Support Network
Support people with cancer at any point along their journey. Also offers support to their wider family network.
Wokingham Carer’s Partnership
A commissioned service of three local charities, offering support to those who provide care to a child or adult family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health condition or an addiction and who cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid.
Wokingham Charity and Community Hub
Home to 11 charities and organisations, open to the general public Monday to Friday, 9-5pm. Waterford House, Erfstadt Court, Denmark Street, Wokingham, RG40 2YF
Wokingham Foodbank
Wokingham Foodbank is an entirely volunteer run organisation that exists to provide help to those in need in Wokingham. This help includes the supply of food and, where appropriate help with heating and lighting. Located in the Wokingham Charity & Community Hub.

Wokingham Lions Club is part of Lions Club International, which is the largest charitable service organisation in the world.
Wokingham Mental Health Association
Wokingham Mental Health Association is a self-help voluntary mental health organisation.
Wokingham Society
The Wokingham Society is a Civic Society established in the 1960s to combat the threat to the town’s buildings and facilities from widespread and often thoughtless redevelopment.
