Wokingham Film Society present: Official Competition (15) + The Dead of Winter (short)

A playful satire of film industry pretensions. Penelope Cruz stars as an eccentic famous director hired by a wealthy businessman to make a hit film based on a novel about the rivalry of two brothers. She hires two wildly contrasting actors to achieve the necessary creative tension. Also stars Antonio Banderas.

Spanish with English subtitles

The main feature will be preceded by a short The Dead of Winter, introduced in person by local filmmaker Stephen Graves
